Tony and Giovanna DiMaio, raised in family restaurants and born to Sicilian parents, understood their purpose at a young age. Blending old-world charm with a modern twist, they bring a true Mediterranean experience. In 2005, Tony trained with chefs in Palermo, Sicily, in search of unique recipes. The quest for an authentic brick oven led them to Woodstone, known for its open-flame hearth, perfect for crafting delicious, traditional pizza. A Fresh Take On Pizza
We follow the Italian tradition of great pizza making. All of our pizza is hand tossed and baked in an authentic Woodstone “open flame” firedeck oven at 600 degrees. Our dough is made from "00" flour, imported from Italy. Our Margherita (Gio’s Plain) is topped with San Marzano D.O.P. tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, Pecorino Romano cheese, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt and fresh basil. We do not add sugar to our sauce or dough.
